Kendriya Vidyalaya is located in Goa and it was started in th year 1965. It is one of the leading school in Goa. It is initiate and promote experimentation and innovations in education in collaboration with other bodies like the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the National Concil of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). The school educational needs of children of transferable Central Government employees including Defence and Para-military personnel by providing a common programme of education. Kendriya Vidyalaya is one of the best model of Kendriya Vidyalayas as per the guidelines of KVS New Delhi. It accommodates 12 classrooms for classes I to XII each with an area of 48sq.m. There are also ample rooms provided for Laboratory, Music, Arts, SUPW, Exams, Office, Principal's Cabin, Library, Staff Room, Computer Laboratory etc. There is also an extensive playground with provision for Volley-ball court. Every room has a double panel, Wooden door and windows have aluminium frame with sliding glass panels.
